Google home keeps responding to deleted IFTTT applets

I had an old IFTTT recipe to turn off and on my TV using Google Home and Harmony Hub.

Recentlly removed it and created a new recipe because I bought a new TV and I had a problem.

It is not working because it still thinks I'm trying to use the old/deleted IFTTT recipe which no longer exists.

I have tried restarting my google home, resetting it, clearing my history activity, removing the connection to google assistant in IFTTT then deleting my IFTTT account altogether, recreating and deleting the old recipe, having Google home resync devices, stop IFTTT from remembring me in google services, and still can't get my google home to stop responding as if it's trying to use old recipe. Been at this for 2 days now....any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for reaching out — let's figure this out.

 

Give these steps a try: 

 

Remove IFTTT from the Google Account.

 

  1. Go to the list of apps connected to the Google Account.
  2. If the customer hasn't already, sign in to the account.
  3. Select IFTTT > Remove.
  4. Repeat for every IFTTT service connected to the account.

Try creating a new home and move your devices there. If the issue persists, you contact IFTTT support for additional assistance.

Hello again,

Sorry the last few days was very busie.

No I haven't, but the comands started to work again on the new TV. I believe that I still have a problem because the awnser that the google nest give to me is diferent from the programed on IFTTT.

But I'll try to create a new home, the problem is that I have lot's of other devices in my home.
