We have new Yale Doorman smart lock, which can be connected to internet with Yale wifi bridge. Yale wifi bridge can use maximum 2.4GHz 802.11 (b/g/n) Wi-Fi connection. We have Google mesh network at home which is working perfectly with several other devices and network is strong in the lock's area.
We could not get connection working and Yale technical support said that issue is probably that Google mesh wifi is using 5g speed.
Have you had similar issues? How could I set up our google mesh network so that it works with 2,4GHz speed with the Yale Doorman?

Some smart home devices are only capable of using the 2.4 GHz band and will not be available for setup if the phone or tablet you're using for setup connects to the 5 GHz band. Here are some potential solutions:
Hopefully one of these solutions helps!

I also want to contact yale doorman technical support to be sure that I am trying the right method. Last time locksmith tried different methods and the Yale lock had to be reinstalled and rebooted totally. I want to avoid that as I can not do full reinstallation of the lock. I will inform you how this developer.
