Help me fix my nest/google device

My old phone that I cannot access has ownership of my google nest mini and even if I request access from my new phone I can’t get ownership since I no longer have my old phone how can I fix that

Are you saying it is requiring verification text that goes your old phone? What exactly would be from/on your old phone, sorry I'm a little confused so just want to be helpful before answering 

Yeah so when I try to access the device it tells me to ask permission from the owner of the device which is also me but I have to send a request and it sends to my old phone which I no longer have

@Laurencreeden, thanks for the help. 

 

@Fabio21, try going to this link, then go to your devices and remove your old mobile phone. Once done, reset the Google Nest Mini then try to set it up again. Keep me posted.
