Google doesn’t manufacture JBL speakers, but I’m assuming it’s one that has the Google Assistant built-in. Best thing to do here is to refer to the manual that came with the speaker, visit the JBL support website, or contact JBL directly for support.

Hi folks,

@David_K, thanks for the help.

@Jpopooo, we'll do our best to get you the support you need however, this channel is for troubleshooting Google Nest devices. It is best to report this with JBL support for better assistance if we're not able to get this resolved.

To start with, try the steps below:

If your speaker or display isn’t connected to a Wi-Fi network. Set up your speaker or display on the new Wi-Fi network:

  1. Open the Google Home app .
  2. At the top left, tap Add > Set up device > New device > set up new devices in your home.
  3. Follow the in-app steps.

If these steps don’t solve the issue, you’ll need to factory reset your speaker or display, then set it up again.

If your speaker or display is connected to an existing Wi-Fi network, but you'd like to connect it to a new one, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  3. At the top right corner, tap Settings > Device information.
  4. Next to "Wi-Fi," tap Forget. You’ll be taken back to the Home app home screen.
  5. Follow the setup steps to set up your device on the new Wi-Fi network.

If you get an error message that says "could not communicate with your [device]" when you try to forget your network, or the steps above don't work, you'll need to factory reset your device and set it up again. For the factory reset, since it may be different from our Nest devices, it would help a lot if you could reach out to JBL directly for directions on how to.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Dan
