Want to change Google account email associated with Google Wifi (now I guess Google Home)

I have a simple setup: just Google Wifi with 2 wifi points connected to my router.  But I can't find a way to change the email account used to set this up to my new email account.  I read about unlinking (?) detaching (?) the nodes but I can find no options to do that.  I also read it's possibly not good to just delete the home and start over with the new email address... I'm hesitant to do that.

Is there a way to safely/simply have my system associated with my new email address?

Add a new Google Home Manager

  1. Open 'Settings' from the Google Home app
  2. 'Invite person' from the Household tab (this would normally be a Google linked account)
  3. Ensure that the new person has Manager 'Access details'

Supplementary:

  • More info - https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9155535
  • A person with Manager access can delete another member, including a Manager
  • An added person would have access to all devices in the 'Home'
  • This technique could be used when, e.g., someone changes email address upon marriage
