Home App 403 error can't edit routines and unable to disable any

Using the latest version of Google Home app.  Using a android flip 4 running Android 14. UK user.

Routines work fine but whenever I tap to edit one it opens a web page 403 error on Google showing it cannot find the content. I am unable to add, edit or delete any routines due to this error appearing for any of those functions.

Due to this my lights turn on every day at sunset and I'm unable to disable this.  I cannot edit or delete.

Error image attached.

I found a solution! Open Google home and reconnect an account, I reconnected my August account for my Smart Lock and then all the sudden all of my routines were accessible again. I also read that people were able to do this with the tile app or really any third party app. Literally just picked an app I already had connected to Google home and did reconnect, that seemed to fix the issue for me at least!

Funny thing, I opened Google home from my tablet linked to the same account and managed to edit the routine. This is a very silly bug among many from Google.

I just tried this and sadly my tablet is showing the same error.

However I have just used my old iPad which does allow me to edit them.  Although I'm now ironically back from being away and do not need to.

My android tablet and phone are both Samsung.  Maybe the issue is with Samsung's?

What devices do people have that are having the error and which devices do not?

Maybe this can help us figure out the issue.

I'm also using Samsung S22 Ultra and Tab S7. The issue was coming up on my phone, but managed to edit on the tab. I doubt if it's a Samsung issue.

I am having the same issue 😞

Suddenly having this issue for no apparent reason. Using a Google pixel 6 pro, so I think that rules out a Samsung only bug.

I've noticed if I switch to a different Google account or try doing this from another device it pops up for a second like it's going to let me and then it says it's unable to connect and I can either click try again or cancel and if I click try again it just sits there and does nothing.

This seems to work! I disconnected and reconnected my roborock robot vacuum via the "works with Google" option and now all of a sudden my automations are working just fine. Not sure how these things are related, but it's fixed!

I noticed earlier today that Spotify was broken in Android Auto and by clearing the cache it started working again. And I'd read some people had had issues with Google home and the 403 error so I figured it had to be something just not connecting properly. It seems like Android 14 broke a couple things lol

This works! So dumb. Thanks.

This done it for me too, just reconnecting anything seems to trigger a fix.
