So I'm I'm submitting this question here because I'm not quite sure where to submit it and I'm hoping this is the right place.
While not a pressing issue it does affect my overall use of the Home app and the speed to which I'm able to utilize and access my devices.
That said, my issue is in the overall UI of the home app itself and in the ability to customize the user experience overall.
I realize that the home app does have a Favorites Tab which I greatly appreciate. However, beyond the quick access favorites, we're presented with a listing of our rooms and devices that remains static and as a generic room-by-room control panel of sorts.
While there's technically nothing here I can report to cause issues on a larger scale, I'm inquiring to the group at large, the developers and the great folks at Google if there's any plans to allow for the Room/Device placement to be rearranged and personalized a little further. Or, is this something already available that I simply am overlooking?
I've included a screenshot to help possibly clarify what it is I'm wanting to do and if it is possible or something that is looking to be made possible in a future update.
When I look to my Device Screen in the Home app it starts with my Bedroom, then lists my Kitchen, My Living Room, my Office, Etc.
I would like to be and to rearrange these rooms to the ones I utilize most often. I suppose this is being described in much the same way as the favorites tab. However, I'm seeking customization and ease of use on a larger scale.
Thank you in advance to anybody who may have an answer to this issue/ observation. I'm open to suggestions, and as I said, if there is something available that I've simply overlooked, I'm willing to give it a try. Also, if I have listed this in the incorrect area, please let me know and I will gladly repost in the correct forum if you'd be kind enough to point the direction.
Have a great day.
