How to change face match to my wife's face?

Paparatzy

We recently setup a Google Hub Nest Max turning on Face Match.  I used my account for the setup, but it is in the Kitchen where my wife will primarily be using it.  In the morning when she approaches it, it greets me, not her, yet on everything else like requesting a song, Google will play from her account using her playlists and also tells her what events on her calendar are next.

I would like to change her to be the primary account and myself the secondary account, but I don't want to conflict with all the other nest devices in our home.  Is it possible to switch so that she is recognized with "Good Morning Shirley" and not "Good Morning Mike"?

Hi Paparatzy,

Thanks for visiting the Community. Here are some tips to remove face match on your device.

  • When you turn off Face Match for a device, your face model will be removed from that device. You can also select Remove Face Match from this home, which will remove your face model from all the devices in your home. In both cases, it will not remove the enrolment images used to create your face model. To remove Face Match enrolment images, visit https://goo.gle/3LvHBra.
  • When you disable camera sensing, Face Match will be turned off until camera sensing is re-enabled. Your face model is not removed from your Hub Max when sensing is disabled.
  • You can also turn off Face Match at any time from the Google app or Assistant app settings page.
  • When you turn off Voice Match, it will also opt you out of Face Match and remove your face model from your device.

Hope this info helped.
