How to retrieve past video from nest drop cámara?

I want to know how to retrieve past video history, I did not know that you can save recording images. Somebody close to me stole from m a huge amount of money , I saw everything in the video but my subscription records only for one months and I couldn’t save the clip due that i didn’t know about this feature. The police want the proves, I called nest customer services , and said the past history video can’t be retrieved. I’m not sure if police, or a legal investigator along nest company are able to retrieve the past video?

Hi Linnette76,

This is a community forum supported by other users and community specialist's so if you have already spoken with a Google representative then their advice is usually correct.

I'm sure that it's against the law for Google to keep your video recording for longer than your subscription time. I wouldn't be happy and would stop using their cameras if I found out they was saving my camera footage without my knowledge.

Cathal
