I regret buying a Nest so much

I normally wouldn't take the time to post something like this because life is short, but there's no purchase I've ever regretted more than my Nest so wanted to share the experience to hopefully help others avoid this product. Despite turning off all "smart" features, this ludicrous device has the temperature in my home all over the place. At random times in the early hours it will turn the temperature on to 22.5, when I've never once set it above 20 since installing it. The scheduler is a scheduler in name only, and the UX in the app is as bad as it gets. If I manually turn the heating on because it's a cold day, it will learn that I then want the heating on at that time every day after. A truly terrible, terrible product in every way.  Avoid.

I'd like to take a closer look at it. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? In what country are you located? Were you able to try factory resetting your thermostat?

Hi, it's a Display3.7, I'm in the UK and I'm not going to bother factory resetting it, I'm getting it uninstalled and throwing it in the bin. It's not just the erratic AI causing hassle, the app is appalling too. All in all a bad experience I'm afraid.
