I have been having issues with my night routines for a while.
First, my Spotify playlist with white noise would stop playing automatically within an hour from start, so I moved to YT music, which worked just fine and decided to pay a subscription just because of that.
Now some weeks ago my nest speaker started announcing in the middle of the night that it is going to play my white noise playlist. There is no workaround which avoids this (ie. Muting the speaker or lowering volume to 0, ask it to play the playlist and raising volume within one minute does not work). No matter what I do to keep the announcement silent, the speaker voice always overruns whatever option I chose. Night mode or any other of those options doesn't work either. Can you please help me being able to sleep again??
UPDATE: I have switched back to Spotify and the exact same routine works fine (ie. no voice announcement before playing white noise), but this does not solve the problem 100% since as I mentioned, spotify playback stops by itself at random times after at least 30/40 minutes. YT music used to work perfectly (no voice announcement + infinite playback until instructed to stop). It's ridiculous that Google cannot find a fix for something so trivial.

Check your Google Home app settings to disable voice announcements for routines or set a custom routine without announcements. If this doesn't work, try using a third-party white noise app directly on your phone.

Hi thanks for your answer! Unfortunately, I am afraid there is no option to disable the voice announcements for routines anymore

Hi Capitanpescanov,
Thanks for reaching out to our community.
I’m sorry to hear that some weeks ago your Google Nest Mini speaker started announcing in the middle of the night that it is going to play your white noise playlist. I understand how frustrating it has been for you trying different workarounds to avoid it and not to find the way to keep the announcement silent. No worries, help is here.
Based on the information you have provided, I would recommend you erase the actual routine and create a new one. When you have the new night routine (with a new name), please try to link it to your Spotify playlist and let me know if it is working again.
Thanks for your kind attention; I will be looking forward to your answer.
Best regards,
Virna

Hi Virna,
Thanks for.your answer.
Unfortunately I have already tried that multiple times. Also, I am using my youTube music account (but this also happened sometime when I used Spotify). Thanks for your help
