Levitron Light Switch NOT working with Google Home

I have a Levitron light dimmer switch D26HD smart dimmers for several years. I connected them to my Google Home, and could control each them via voice command on Google Assistant or in the Google Home app until recently.   Now the connection between Leviton and Google has broken.

The Levitron app works fine.  I can connect, dim the lights etc all works well WITHIN the Levitron app.   The issue is with Google Assistant (GA) .   I've tried to reestablish the link from within the Google Home app, rebooted the modem, light witch and Google Assistant. Nothing and I'm a tech junkie.

From the Leviton App, Main Menu, Integrations, Google Assistant, Integrate, continue, Agree and continue,  Levitron ID / PW, Link Your Account,

Error Message Error 404 (not found) !!1  The requested URL  was not found on this server.  Thats all we know.

I SOLVED THIS ISSUE.  by opening the web page browser window of the error and continuing with a different browser other than Firefox.  Apparently it was a browser issue.  Leaving this message up to help others.  Thank you.  Problem Solved.  Have a good day.

When trying to reconnect Levition app into the GA, it  tells me that the Leviton service is unavailable, or that the link is functioning but there are no compatible devices in my Leviton account. I've tried unlinking and relinking; that doesn't appear to work either.

I've rebooted both switches. I can still control them from the My Leviton app. But Google now ignores them.

Hi ZBrianp,

Thank you for reaching out to the community and providing such a detailed overview of your experience with your Leviton D26HD smart dimmers. It appears that after several years of seamless integration, the communication between your dimmers and the Google Home app is currently disrupted. I understand the Leviton app works, but you are seeing 'Error 404' and 'Service Unavailable' messages when linking to Google Home app, and the Google Assistant isn't recognizing the command. Thank you for listing the troubleshooting steps you've already taken to solve this situation. Let's work together to find a solution.

We are always looking for ways to enhance our services. Please consider sharing your thoughts and experiences by submitting them through the feedback form so we can improve future updates.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,

Byron

Just today....Leviton devices show online in Google Home, but control is broken and will not function.  Leviton app is working, Google Home shows the correct device status, but I cannot toggle a Leviton device from Google Home.  All troubleshooting has been completed... But no change.  It seems like this is associated with Google Assistant-->Gemini transition and function broke as of the 3/2/2026 update. PLEASE FIX THIS!

Same issue here.

All of mine stopped working today around 4pm Central time. They show on line but say there was a problem even after all troubleshooting. Leviton app works fine.

This needs to be fixed. All of my Leviton light switches stopped working this evening around 4 PM central time. Even after all troubleshooting and contacting Support with Google, they are still not working. The Leviton app is working perfectly fine. Please fix this!
