Mira shower fails to show up in Home App. Linked. "could not reach Mira Showers"

Wasn't sure where to post this so I'm hoping I'm in the right place!

I am trying to add my Mira Shower to my Home App. I have successfully connected the shower to my WiFi and, according to the Mira App, it has been linked to my Home App for voice commands.

However, when I try to add it into the Home App, I get as far as the Mira cloud connect login page, then the home app tells me "can't reach Mira Showers. Please try again"

It linked straight away with my Alexa app, which suggested it was something on google's side..?

Has anybody else had any similar issues to this or got any suggestions..?

Thanks in advance.

Hi kominiko,

Thanks for posting here. We'd love to help.

Please answer the following: is this the first time linking your Mira Showers account? If not, was this working before? What troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Try to clear the cache of your Google Home app. Make sure that Mira Showers is no longer showing under the Linked accounts before connecting it in the app again. If the issue persists, uninstalling and reinstalling the app might also help before linking your Mira Showers account.

Keep me posted.

Lovely

Hi. Yes, this is the first time I have linked my account.. I tried it on the Alexa app and it successfully linked but did not show any showers connected.

The shower has had a brand new wifi module that has been used to update the firmware so its connected to the Internet.

Hey kominiko,

Please give us the shower model and your phone model so we can look into this further. We also need a screenshot of the message that you are getting, if you don't mind.

Many thanks,
Lovely

It all appears to be working now.. seems that unlinking it from my Google account, waiting a couple of days then relinking it through the Google Home app, worked. It now appears in my Home and I can use voice commands successfully.

Interestingly the mira always showed that it was linked to Google.

Thanks for your offer of help!

Hi. I have successfully unlinked my mira account from the Google Home but the problem still seems to persist when trying to relink..

Google Home still comes up with the error message of "can't reach mira showers" even though the login page appears and it accepts my credentials so something is breaking down after that..
