Moving Nest Hub and Nest Minis to new rooms within the same household

I have a Google Nest Hub I have had since January and my son set it up in the master bedroom where it has been ever since.  My wife and I decided it would be more useful in the living room and thought it would be a simple matter of just unplugging it and plugging it into an outlet in the new room and changing the room name in Google Home.  When I tried to change the room in Google Home it always went back to the master bedroom so I thought maybe if I deleted the device and set it up again in the living room that the problem would be solved.  Now I can't locate the device to set it up again.  Anyone else experience this?

It is getting more and more difficult to get simple answers from Google it's like the cloaking in order to create confusion if anyone from Google is reading this please answer our questions

Hey folks,

Thanks for stopping by on the Google Nest Community Forum.

Quick question: is your Nest Hub still responding to your voice command? If not, try resetting your Nest Hub to its default settings so that you can reconnect it to your network.

Let me know if you have other questions or if you still need my help.

Best,

Alex
