Music randomly playing on speaker

One of my speakers randomly plays music from my Spotify around midnight (same song). I have checked that there is no routine scheduled, no one is accessing my network, etc. Any ideas?

Hi AndreeaN,

That’s odd. Let’s do some troubleshooting steps:

• Open the Google Home app > Settings > Services > Music. Choose “No default provider” > Unlink and relink your Spotify account.
• Go to the Devices tab > Tap your Google Home speaker > Settings > Remove device > Remove.
• Back on the Devices tab, scroll down and look for the Google Home speaker you removed > Tap on the speaker icon > Add to a room.
• Unplug your Google Home speaker from the power outlet for a minute > Plug back in.
• Monitor its behavior. If the issue persists, do a factory reset.
