My light isn't working

Does anyone have a solution for my light? I connected an rgb light bulb in my closet to my Google nest mini, and a lot of times it tells me that it isn't available right now. I tried turning it off and back on, but it tells me the same thing. Anyone know whats wrong? To be more specific it's a cync light that you can control with a Google nest or an Alexa.

Thanks for reaching out — let's see what's going on.

 

A few questions: have you tried setting up your lights using another app other than the Google Home app? Can you still see it on the Google Home app? If so, can you control it using it?

 

Give these steps a try:

 

  • Ensure the bulb is working on its own
  • Power cycle the bulb- Turn the switch or plug off for 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
  • Reboot your Google Nest Mini and router to refresh the connection.
  • If the issue persists, reset your Nest Mini and Cync light.
