My backplate has been damaged due to inclement weather and is not clicking in as well as it should. I would like to replace it with another if at all possible. I can purchase it as well if at all possible. It was bought last year at best buy and should hopefully be within any warranties. Thank you.

If it's within the 1-year warranty, you could try contacting Support: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp
Google Nest, however, does not sell spare parts.
