Nest App vs Home App

When is Google Home going to wake up and make the Home App as good as the Nest app was?

The Nest App was so much more user friendly, nicer format, better at viewing and capturing video from cameras, and easier to set up thermostat schedule. Why ruin a good thing? 

So many people are missing being able to use the old Nest App with new products.

I keep both apps on my phone so I can view and control my devices since it works much better than the Google Home App, which I only use for one new floodlight camera and is pretty much useless.

Please, improve Google Home by copying and using the old format of Nest and make the devices compatible on both. I really hate the new Google Home app and it keeps me from adding devices since it doesn't work as well as the old Nest app.

The Google home app does not work nearly as effectively as done nest app does. I’m very upset that I cannot add new cameras or my new GEN for thermostats to the old nest app. It is much more user-friendly and much more effective
