I understand Google will not support Nest or Nest Pro cameras therefore no more video or recordings.
Is there a 3rd party company acquiring the support? If not, what are the direct google replacements? With the short announcement, it would be nice to get a rebate or credit. I just bought three new Nest Pro cameras off of Amazon a few months ago which are still in the box.
thank you.

Google Nest is NOT discontinuing support of the Google Nest app on April 8, 2024. And I'm not sure what you mean by "Nest Pro cameras"; Google Nest's product names are sometimes confusing, but I don't think that's a product name they've used.
Per their April 7, 2023 announcement (below), they ARE discontinuing support on April 8, 2024 for the "Nest Secure" alarm system (including Nest Guards, Nest Detects, and Nest Tags) and for the older "Dropcams" (introduced in 2009). Supposedly, customers active with either product were supposed to receive an offer email regarding replacements last April. (Apparently, Dropcam customers were eligible if their Dropcams were on a "Nest Aware" subscription the month before the April 7, 2023 announcement.)

We have several 1st gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells that still continue to use the Google Nest app. My understanding is that we will continue to be able to use the Google Nest app.
