My google nest battery is wired to an existing doorbell.
On the google home app on my pixel 6, it shows the infinity symbol, which means the doorbell is running off the power from the existing doorbell.
However, on my google nest hub (2nd gen), it is still displaying the battery power and it does not go into live view, which it is supposed to go into, like on my phone.
Also, according to the nest hub, the battery is slowly being drained and not charging, despite it indicating on my phone that the doorbell is connected to power.}
Can anyone who has had a similar experience let me know what is going on?

@MplsCustomer
At least I do not live in an area with sub freezing temperatures.
Shocking that google nest has not done anything about the battery drain situation.
Thanks for the reply.

After doing some research, I have found out that my google nest doorbell battery is working as intended.
My doorbell went down to 69% before being slowly charged back up to 75%.
