Nest Floodlight turns on in Day not Night with motion

One of my wired outdoor Nest camera floodlights does not come on at night with motion or when live viewing. It originally worked fine but stopped several months ago. I have reinstalled it and reset it to factory mode to no avail. It is just out of warranty. The camera works fine. 

The floodlight does come on in the daytime with motion. I have 2 other camera/floodlights installed which work fine.

I have tried different settings to no avail. Please note that I am sure that the settings are correct on the unit.

Wanted to see what my options are besides taking a big loss on this. I had tried Google support before but the representative just kept having me change settings and checking things which did nothing.

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Floodlight is not working as expected, turning on your lights in the day instead of at night, but there's no need to worry; I'm happy to assist you right now.

I recommend adjusting the motion sensitivity settings to determine when the floodlight will turn on. Please follow the steps below: 

• Open the Google Home app.
• Tap and hold your device's tile.
• Open Settings What turns on the floodlight?
• Tap the switch to turn Motion on or off.
• Set Motion sensitivity to High, Medium, or Low.

Also, it is important to check the Timer settings and the Daylight sensor settings to turn on the Nest Floodlight automatically.

i have checked all the settings and they are the same as my other two nest camera/floodlights which operate properly.  The motion is turned off on all 3 of my cameras and floodlights. The floodlight now comes on when the camera detects vehicles, people or animals both in the daytime and night. I changed the daylight sensor from darkest to bright and the floodlight still comes on in the daytime no matter what this setting is. This is a change from my original complaint when it would not come on at night. It now comes on correctly at night but also in the daytime.
