Is there any way on the nest hub max to make it not say that the nest camera is being viewed?

Hi @Lbri1

No, that is a feature that you can't change. The display will always indicate that the feed is being viewed.

It's probably due to privacy concerns. Back in August 2019, Google Nest turned on the green LED light whenever cameras were being viewed:

Hello everyone,

@JillG, @MplsCustomer, I appreciate both of your assistance.

@Lbri1, thanks for the post. I understand that you'd like to disable the text saying that the Google Nest Hub Max is being viewed. While the specific feature you're asking for is not available, sending feedback will give our team more data that they can use to improve the overall experience of using the Google Nest display.

If you have other questions in mind, let me know; otherwise, I'll be locking this thread in the next 24 hours.

Cheers,
Lovely
