Hello,
I would like to submit a warranty claim for a Nest Learning Thermostat that dropped wifi and won't reconnect. I have tried all trouble shooting steps (reseting thermostat, resetting wifi). My downstairs Nest is fine and never lost connection, and I have a ton of other devices in the house that are also connecting to wifi no problem. I purchased the thermostat less than a year ago (November 2022). Numbers on the back are 09***
I can't use the automated warranty claim form because only the device connected to wifi shows up. It seems from the discussion boards I've seen that other Nests have been replaced because of this issue.
Thank you, Amy

It sounds like you've already tried some great steps. I'm not sure if you've seen the help article below but there are quite a few other things you can check:
Nest thermostat is offline - Google Nest Help
If it still doesn't connect after trying the steps linked above, the best thing to do is contact the Google Nest support team directly.

Apologies for responding to you here in someone else's thread, but I didn't know how else to get in contact with someone. In my earlier post a few days ago, you asked me to wait to be contacted by a member of the support team via email. Do you know how long it should take for that email to arrive? If the support team is busy and it's going to be a long wait (which may possibly take even longer if there are multiple back and forth emails to discuss things) I would like to know, so I can consider trying alternate solutions in the meantime. Thanks

Hello there,
@chocobo, we know that this has taken some time. Rest assured, we're not leaving you hanging. I’ve made a follow-up with our team; I'll get back to you with your thread, as soon as I have something to share.
@amy12, I don't want to be a nudge, but I'd like to check if you were able to get your thermostat to reconnect to your Wi-Fi network. Feel free to reach out again if you still need help.
Best,
Mark
