Nest Thermostat

My Nest thermostat has worked fine until last night. It was showing no power. I thought maybe it was the batteries so I changed them. Now it blinks every little while and doesn’t show anything.

First, let me ask you about the new batteries on your thermostat. Could you tell me what type of batteries you are using now? Another important detail is that if you have a "C" wire connected to your base, normally this "C" wired brings power to the thermostat.
