Nest Yale Lock Reporting Offline all weekend.  Started Sat 10am MT and camback online Tuesday 9:16am MT.

Anyone know why and why we weren't notified.  I nearly went to go factory reset my equipment.

Hi @ChadCook,

Thanks for contacting this community! I understand your Nest Yale Lock was offline for a few days, from Saturday to Tuesday, and you weren't alerted to this status change. No worries, I'd be happy to assist you with this.

To give you the most accurate troubleshooting steps, I'd like to ask a few questions:

  • Did you see any other error code in the app?
  • How many Nest Connects do you have? Are they all online?
  • What is the distance of your Nest Yale lock from the router?
  • Are there any walls, mirrors, microwave appliances, or Bluetooth devices between the Connect and the Lock?

Let's start by checking the following:

  • Check the version number of the Nest app and update if necessary.
    • For Android: Settings > Apps > Nest.
    • For iOS: Settings > Nest > Nest Settings > Version.
  • Check the Nest x Yale Lock's battery level.
  • Restart the Wi-Fi network.
  • Restart the bridge device.
    • Plug Connect into a power outlet.
    • Hold down Connect’s button until the light pulses blue (about 10 seconds). Then, release the button.

    • Wait for Connect’s light to turn green, which means the restart is complete.

    • Check if your Nest Connect is online in the app.

Please feel free to share any additional details you think might be relevant.
