Google home nest hub Gen 2
Music plays fine, and have spent a bomb on upgrading network gear. Completely ruled out network issues at the individual packet level.
Through the night, a looped playlist on Spotify will abruptly terminate without reason, mid song. Been happening for about 2+ years, and every other night at least one of the 5 devices stop.
Start 8pm, and issues generally occur about 2am-5am.
Looped lullabies on Spotify. Each device is a separate 'home' and running their own Spotify, individually given spoken commands to each device. (play playlist, loop play list). Even casting from one device, increases risk of them all stopping and doesn't prevent issue from occurring.
Done 10+ factory resets in 2 years, 2 different houses, and 3 different networks. no avail.
Same topic as here but reopening as new due to no fix

Hi @Oipjo!
Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that your Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen) devices are stopping looped Spotify playlists during the night. I appreciate your efforts in taking those steps before. I'm happy to help you!
To help me find the best solution, I'll need to ask you a few questions:
Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.
Best regards,
Geremi

Thanks for the response!
The 4 x Google Home Nest Hub (Gen 2)
System firmware version: 26.20250116.103.2900
Cast firmware: 3.76.463359
Language: en- AU
Checking this against the device list, seems that they're all running the Google Nest Hub, software, (not Gen 2), but they're definitely Gen 2 devices from the command "which hub are you?" they all respond "(2nd Gen)".
No electrical devices, are nearby. Closest would be phones on charge for our master bedroom (about 2.5m). In the other rooms we haven't used baby monitors for some time.
No routines are set up in the homes, we did have a" goodnight" routine, which automated the same play actions, but found it to not work very consistently, so removed it, and restarted devices from factory a few times since to try figure this one out.
Not having any luck. Happy to try anything. I've taken to "send feedback" a few times over the past few weeks when music is found to have stopped.
I haven't extensively testedb, but we have recently got a Google Max Hub which has been on the network for about 3 months (issues been 2+ years). Will test if that continues to play overnight, so far I think it does perform better than the multiple GOOGLE Nest Hub Gen 2 devices we have.
