I have the Nest doorbell/video hardwired to my front door. It was used by the previous owner. I did the recommended factory reset but when I tried to connect it to the app it still said it was associated with the old account? How do I switch this over to my account?

The previous owner must not have removed it from their account. That's a requirement for you to be able to set it up. Unfortunately, you'll need to wait until their video history expires before you'll be able to set it up.
