New Router pain

HI,

I had a Nest Mesh router with 1 point with about 30 devices in the Google Home app. I got a new Deco  2Gig router (mesh + one satellite). I installed the new router and gave the network the same name and password as the old network.

My Pixel phone connected, the Nest Hub Max connected, my Pixel tablet connected but no other devices did.

What is more concerning is that the Google Home app on my phone and tablet also will not connect. it still lists the nest router and point, although offline. It also shows in the Play store as installed on my old Pixel phone which has been wiped. 

I already tried reinstalling Google home app, but it comes back the same. Mind, I only did that on one of the devices.

There isn't much I can do in configuring the app if it won't connect.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Update,

So now I have reconfigured multiple devices and they have connected.

However, the Google Home app on my phone and tablet, say that the network is disconnected and shows zero devices. I shows my old Router as a point.

Even though it is "Disconnected" I can see the live cams of Nest Hub Max and my Nest Doorbell in the Home app.

I can also control my lights via voice commands on my Hub.

I have no idea what is going on, or how to get the Home app to connect.

 Can anyone explain?
