I have an old phone, Samsung galaxy s21 + and i have a new phone, Samsung galaxy s21 ultra.
You would not think the more expensive model would not work, also my wife has the Samsung S22 Ultra, it dont work either.
I setup google nests, google nest max, speakers, philips hue, Amazon Alexa, and did all the voice recognition etc etc etc, all on my old phone, the Samsung galaxy s21 plus, + and when i switched to my new phone it all works 100%
But sometime, around 2 months ago things started to go wrong. It now seems if i make any changes to anything, thats Alexa, Hue, google home, and all google devices, then things dtart to go wrong.
On new phone, removed works with google, the Philips hue system, now cant add it back. I lost my wifes voice recognition, could not add it back.
So today, i switch on my old phone, make the changes, add a device, setup voice control, you name it, i have to do it on my old phone or everything falls apart.
Although i talk about philips and Alexa, remember if we forget them for a moment, i load the google home on my new phone, and as long as i dont make setting changes all is ok, i can make new routines, i can make new rooms, but i must stay away from things like voice match changes, must not add things that work with google, must not add a new device in smart life, because when it updates in google home, i loose existing devices.
So i switch old phone on, make changes, do anything i want, switch old phone off, switch new phone on and it all works perfect. Must not make any changes using new phone.
Also, cannot log into hue account with new phone, already logged in and can log out and back in using old phone.
Stumped, i cant be the only one with an S21 plus, or a S22 ultra?

Hi kingjohn,
Thanks for bringing this up.
Could you please verify the Android version of your old and new phone so we can compare it? Also, it's best if you will update the Home app or uninstall/reinstall the app.
Let us know if it makes any changes on its behavior after trying the steps.
Best,
Princess
