Not able anymore to play radio '24/7 Continuous Music' on TuneIn

Hi,

something has changed the past few weeks to automations.

Until last month, I had a personal automation that started some actions when I come home.

One of the actions is to start playing a radio station called '24/7 Continuous Music' on TuneIn (Free).

Previously, you could just do that without script in the 'Play radio' section in the google home app.

Unfortunately, this has changed and it's not recognising the radio station anymore. I have put '247Continuous' in the prompt field for 'Which radio station do you want to hear?'.

I tried to have the same results by using a google home script, but the speaker (newest nest audio) says that he can't find the radio station.

It's this one: https://tunein.com/radio/24%2f7-Continuous-Music-s288864/

I live in Belgium. I really hope it is possible to let it automatically play as soon as someone's home.

metadata:
name: Ochtendradio
description: Speelt radio af wanneer je thuiskomt.

automations:
- starters:
- type: home.state.HomePresence
state: homePresenceMode
is: HOME
actions:
- type: assistant.command.OkGoogle
devices: Wise One - Woonkamer
okGoogle: Play radio '24/7 Continuous Music' on TuneIn

Kind regards,

Alexander

Hi @alexanderlefere,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community. I'm sorry to hear that an automation that was previously working, like playing the '24/7 Continuous Music' station via TuneIn, has suddenly stopped functioning on your Nest Audio. I appreciate you troubleshooting this by trying both the dedicated 'Play radio' action and a custom Google Home script. I'm glad to help you.

To make sure I provide you with the most accurate and effective troubleshooting steps, I just need a little more information. Could you please answer the following questions for me?

  • Do you have more speakers or displays? If yes, are the other devices experiencing the same issue?
  • Does the issue occur only when you are playing music?
  • Have you tried another music service? If so, could you confirm with me if the issue is still the same?
  • Did you try to Factory Reset your Nest Audio?

If you have any additional details that might be helpful, feel free to share them with me.

Regards,

Gabriela
