I bought my doorbell camera new, but some of the numbers are worn off.  What can I do?  Thanks for any help.

Do a reset by inserting a pin in the device, once removed and holding down the doorbell key until it starts making doorbell countdown sound. then try re-adding to the nest account

Hey folks,

Thanks for your help here, MoonMullins.

Thanks for reaching out and for sharing that with us. Let's check this out. Have you tried the steps shared by MoonMullins? if so, how did it go? Do you have a Nest Hello doorbell (wired) or the Nest Doorbell (battery)? Also, is this your first time setting it up?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

JT

sorry for not having answered sooner.   Thank you MoonMullins and JT.  This is the first time I am setting it up, and it is wired.  I  look forward to any further help you can offer.

Hi Lois219,

Got it, thanks for following up. Have a look at this article and let us know if you need more help: Install Nest Doorbell (wired).

Regards,

JT

Thanks again.  I will try it over the weekend.  I appreciate the help.

i just looked at the article you suggested.  My problem is that I can’t see all of the QR code or the numbers underneath that are needed to set it up.  They have been partially rubbed off.  The article doesn’t address that.

@Lois219

I am sorry to hear that the QR code and serial number are partially rubbed off! I would suggest that you reach out to Support for further assistance. I wouldn't be able to locate that information for you here in the forums.

Best regards,

Brad

Would you happen to know the telephone number for support?  I’ve looked on the box and the enclosed materials and couldn’t find it.  Thank you again for your help.
