My first question is, what is the correct way to move my Nest Hub and connect the Philips Hue Bluetooth smart lightbulb to a different Wi-Fi? The new Wi-Fi won't be available before I uninstall the old one.
Without knowing the answer, it seems that I have to reset the Nest Hub under the new Wi-Fi and connect everything again. And this is what I did.
Most of my devices such as sensors and TVs are working fine after I reset and reconnect them. The only exception is my Philips Hue Bluetooth smartbulb. I followed the instructions from the manufacturer, installed the Philips Hue app, factory reset the lightbulb, and tried to connect it to Google Home again. It was a "seamless setup" and I could see it blinks when the Google Home app discovered it. However, after much longer than usual waiting, it always fails at the last step and returns an error "Something went wrong". It connects and is controllable from the Philips Hue app so it must not be a hardware issue. What should I try now?

Philips hue uses a hub that has to be connected via Ethernet.

There are two different Philips Hue, one with bridge, one without bridge which has a seamless setup with Google home badge and called Philips Hue Bluetooth.

Hi @SS7C_Philip!
Thanks for posting in the community.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience that you’ve been experiencing when trying to reconnect your Philips Hue smart light bulb to the Google Home App. I understand that you are trying to connect the light bulb to a different WiFi network, but it is not connecting when you are connecting the light through the Google Home app. No worries about it, I’m happy to help you find a solution to this situation.
We recommend that if you are having trouble connecting a third-party smart home device to your Google, you should connect it first to the manufacturer's app. Once done, you can follow the next steps to get it working with your Google Home App:
Please check the following articles: Connect third-party smart home devices in the Google Home app for further information.
Tell me how it goes.
Regards,
Daniel.

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for sharing the resource. However, that is for general smart light. Specifically, my is Philips Hue Bluetooth and it's a seamless setup with Google Nest, which should follow this: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9367376?sjid=1636282723437460542-NC
Basically, it should connect first to Google Home app, not the the manufacturer's app. Please advise, thank you!

Hi @SS7C_Philip!
Thanks for your reply.
I’m sorry for the confusion. You are using the correct article. If you have already followed the steps and recommendations and also done the factory reset but your Philips Hue smart light bulb is still not connecting when using the Google Home app, then I will suggest you to give a chance to the steps that I sent you before, try to connect the light to the Philips Hue app, then follow the previous steps to link the apps. If after trying that it is still not working, I want to let you know that your feedback is invaluable to us and helps us identify areas for improvement. Then here I send you the feedback form where you can put your suggestions and share your experience.
Keep me posted.
Regards,
Daniel.

Hi Daniel, after follow your step I got error message: "To control your Philips Hue system, you need to have a Bridge linked with a Hue Home. Complete your Hue Home setup and try linking your third-party app again."
So it does require a Bridge to proceed on. It's not the correct way for me.
I have left the feedback.
