I have two Phillips hue bulbs linked to my Google account and I am able to control them via voice and phone for everything apart from running a sleep routine to dim the lights slowly on command this worked perfectly for years until a couple of weeks ago, now it won't work via Google only directly on Phillips hue

Hi Joshac,
Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear about the situation that you are experiencing with your Philips Hue lights that are not working with your sleep routine to dim the lights slowly on command. I understand that the lights are just working with the main lights app and not on the Google Home app. Don't worry; help is here. In this case, the recommendation will be to delete and re-add your lights to the Google Home app.
You can check these steps to remove the lights from the app:
After that, here is how to re-add them:
Once you finish the steps above, you can create the sleep routine again and test if that works. You can check the "Connect third-party smart home devices in the Google Home app" for more information.
Please keep me posted.
Regards,
Jenny

Hi Jenny, as you can see from our other replies this is still an ongoing issue not solved by the steps above. It appears something broke with Google's support for certain models of Hue bulbs at the beginning of August. Are you able to escalate this to the engineering team? Thank you!

I have the same problem and it started around the same time. I tried re-linking my Hue account with no success.
Additional Info: I noticed sleep/wake commands still work with the full color hue bulbs, but doesn't work with any of the various white hue bulbs I have.
