Pixel Tablet Dock no longer appears as an option to play routine on

Exactly as the title describes. Dock appears as a cast target in apps and works in speaker groups but it no longer appears as an option to play routine notifications on. Issue has been occurring for several weeks, don't recall the exact timeframe. Tablet and dock have both been removed from Home, factory reset and readded but issue remains.

  • Do you have any Google Nest speakers or displays? If so, what are the models?
  • Are you experiencing the same inconvenience with any of those devices? 

If you don’t have any Google Nest speakers or displays and the inconvenience is specifically with your Pixel Tablet and routines, you may need to contact the Google Pixel Tablet Help Community. They are the best resource to provide accurate troubleshooting steps.

Yes I have several speakers that appear as options to play the routine audio on. The only one missing is the tablet.

Did you hear back from Google on this? I’m having the same issue.

Absolutely not, the whole point of their useless support options is to make it so difficult to get any kind of support for an issue that you just give up and stop trying, which is effectively where I'm at. En**bleep**tification is the only thing Google is good at anymore and I'm looking to exit their ecosystem over the next year because it's becoming increasingly poor.
