Playing a custom sound file.

Good afternoon

I have a google home mini speaker and I am trying to create a custom action that allows my speaker to play specific sound file. Now this sound file is not from YouTube, Spotify or any other streaming service, it’s a sound file of a specific sound effect that I have downloaded to my google drive.

I have followed the guide that is on one of the forums and all I get from the speaker is sorry I do not understand.

Is this  a function that google devs can add.

Also I know this can be done as I have done it on my Alexa speaker that sites in my mom and dads front room and at a certain time of the day it plays the Wow I feel good. To try and scare my parents and also the screaming goat sound effect skill.

When will google make there Google home more fun and add skills similar to what is on Alexa. Most of my products are google Home speaker, Chromecast with TV and Pixel 9 and I don’t really want to have to switch to Alexa to get the functionality that I require.

Any update on this? I want my nest mini to play custom music (which is not present on any streaming platform) when my nest doorbell is rang.

This would be very helpful.
