Hi,
I'm trying to find out if it's possible to connect a Fronius Inverter and/or the SolarWeb portal to Google Home. Has anyone been able to do this?
I'd like to write automations to start certain appliances (i.e. washing machine, tumble dryer, pool pump) when the solar system is generating sufficient power. I have found how to link the inverter to HomeAssistant but would prefer to go direct to Google Home if possible
cheers,

Hi, @Brendanc,
I appreciate you reaching out to the community. I'm pleased to assist you with your inquiry regarding whether your third-party smart device is compatible with Google.
To answer your question, the Google Home app allows you to add a lot of third-party smart devices and control them from there as long as they are compatible.
To add a third-party smart device, please follow the steps in this article: Connect third-party smart home devices in the Google Home app. There, you will find a list of Google-compatible devices from which you can select your brand device.
If your brand device is not listed, we'd appreciate it if you could take the time to share your feedback. Your opinion is valuable to us as we strive to enhance Google Home app features.
Feel free to reply if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Ana
