The  google Home/assistant to run the automation is not working b/c it says it is not connected.

impossible b/c I just set it up and linked it. Why does google Home/assistant not recognize PowerView?

yes I see the scenes and have created routines to run the automation, but when I try to use voice or tap the “routine” button I get the error “it looks like PowerView scenes are unavailable right now.”

I don't know the answer to your question but I have Feit, Wemo, and Philips Hue that I had linked successfully.   In the last ~2 months it is just frustrating and I have to open each individual app on my phone.  Did Google do a bad software update?

It seems a google update destroyed connections between partner products. In addition to my HunterDouglas PowerView  not connecting (even though they are recognized in the google home app and working in their own respective apps), my Big Ass Fans and Lutron lights are also experiencing the same “not able to reach” errors by google.

hey Google, what’s your malfunction?

Hey there,

So sorry to hear about the troubles you're having with your Powerview and other 3rd party integrations and the Google Home app, I understand how this would be frustrating but I'm happy to help.

  • When did this issue start occurring?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
  • Have you tried unlinking and relinking the affected devices back to the Home app?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Hey Garret, this is an error I get

62E2B3B6-06DC-463C-A6F1-84BCB01C6E3B.jpeg

note: I can’t unlink it b/c it won’t link in google! When I try to I get the error shown here.

As you can see, “a home has been selected”. So something’s amiss!

Hey there,

So sorry for the late response, but I have been in contact with the appropriate team and wanted to provide some information.
It does seem like we are aware of a bug where Google Home "Scenes" don't work with multiple users in a home. Please send feedback to our team via the Home app through this link and please include any logs or screenshots as possible.

Best regards,

Garrett DS

Problem occurred immediately after linking PowerView to Google Home. The problem still persists.

Unlinking and delinking has not worked.

Rebooting Modem, Router, PowerView bridges, and Google Home Max and apps (even rebooting phone) has not fixed the issue.
