Presence Sensing notifications for Home/Away

I have just set up 2 Google indoor nest cameras( wired) and have Presence Sensing setup for Home and Away routines.

 

The cameras are switching on when we are away and back off when we are home but we aren't getting alerts to our phones/Home app to say some is "Home" or "away". If i check the status in home app I see if home/away but its handy to know when other members of household arrive home etc.

 

How do I set it up to get notified that the status is Home or away?

Home + Away settings are based on your phones location. There are no specific notifications for what you're looking for. I would say that the camera will go on or off depending on if y'all are home or not, so you could go look at tho settings to make sure. You can learn more here.

Just seems strange that the Google home/nest aware has the geo location ability as it will switch on/off a camera but then can't use that call to show notification in the Home app as per motion etc
