Presence sensing not available as an option in Google Home settings

I have some simple home automations implemented in Google Home that I wanted to share with my wife. I invited her from my phone. I was instructed that she could accept from her Google Home app. As I registered her on her Google Home app, I was prompted to name a home, which I did. As she accepted my invitation, she ended up with 2 homes.

I unregistered her from Google Home, reinstalled the app on her phone, and sent a new invitation. She accepted that invitation and was able to join my home, which was the desired outcome.

However, the Presence Sensing option is not available in the Google Home settings on her phone. Her Location settings are to "Always Allow", and "Precise Location" is turned on. I unregistered her again, reinstalled that app again, rebooted her phone, added her home address to her Google account, and turn on location sharing in Google Maps.

Still no Presence Sensing option. When trying to set up a "Home" or "Away" automation using presence sensing, my phone shows her name, but says "Location access off". When trying to create one on her phone, I get "Something went wrong. Phone-based presence settings aren't currently available".

Any suggestions on how to get Presence Sensing to show up as an option in Google Home settings on her phone?

Resolved after contacting Google Support.  Needed to set up Home and Away on my wife's phone.  Support walked me through, and I wish I could remember exactly what we did, but it was quick and easy - just not intuitively obvious.
