Remove birthday countdown for a specific contact.

Hi,

Can someone please tell me how to remove the birthday countdown for a specific person? I looked in Google Contacts and the person isn't even there anymore. I still have that person in my phone, but it's under a different name. I removed that name from every place I could think of, yet Google still want's to remind me of the person's birthday under an outdated name.

You can try these steps below: 

Turn off birthdays from one of your accounts

If you have multiple accounts, you can choose to hide birthdays associated with one of your accounts.

1. Open the Google Calendar app .
2. At the top left, tap Menu Settings.
3. Under “More,” tap Birthdays.
4. Turn off Contacts for the account you want to hide.

Hide all birthdays

1. Open the Google Calendar app .
2. At the top left, tap Menu .
3. Tap Birthdays. Calendars with an empty box next to them are hidden.
