This question has been asked before, but given how many updates I've seen to Home, I am hoping that it has finally been addressed.
How can I schedule my super smart nest camera to send me notifications when it's dark and not send me notifications (but still work/record) when it is light? In other words, I want a very loud alert when someone is in my yard at night, and zero notification (while still recording) every time my kids run in front of the camera during the day.
It's been said many times before, but this is the most basic functionality I'd expect of a much less "intelligent" camera. Indeed, the Nest app allowed this before Google moved cameras to Home. The smartness of the camera is effectively negated by the lack of this stupidly obvious "automation". If this hasn't been fixed, can someone explain why?
