Is there any way to set a fixed schedule for all days of the week without having to set day-by-day to each day of the week? Also, is there a way to set the thermostat to hold a specific temperature forever? My Nest is installed in my vacation home, so I need to be able to set a fixed temperature (say, 85 degrees) when I am away. But then I need to be able to revert to a pre-determined schedule when I return, without having to enter it all over again. Can you help?

Hello umgriz3001,
Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry.
Creating a schedule for temperature only allows you to manage the days in a week. You can set your desired temperature for a specific time, then copy and paste it on the other days of the week so it repeats the cycle.
If you have the Nest Thermostat 2020 model, enable the Hold Temperature feature, and it will maintain that specific temperature for as long as you want. But if you have the Nest Learning Thermostat or the Nest Thermostat E, disabling the auto-schedule and Eco Temperature would help so it will stay at your set temperature unless you change it.
Feel free to let us know if you have more questions in mind.
Regards,
Mark
