I updated the Google Home app to Gemini and my Google Nest Audio stopped understanding and speaking Spanish, and now I can't talk to it. I've already reset it to factory settings, and in the initial setup it does speak Spanish, but when I add it to Google Home, it neither speaks nor understands Spanish, and now I can't control it or tell it anything.
I need to fix this urgently.

Hi Debora;
First of all, thank you for your response. The problem is that my Google Home Mini and Google Nest devices were configured to speak and respond in Spanish.
With the update to Gemini, they have unfortunately stopped understanding instructions in Spanish.

Hi @IsraelPizano,
Thanks for the information! After reviewing your case, I want to clarify that following the Gemini update on the Google Home application, we are still working on full language support. Not all languages are 100% available with this update yet, but we are working to have them fully implemented by early 2026.
I understand this may not be the answer you were looking for, but your experience and thoughts are valuable to us. For that reason, we would love to hear more from you. You can leave your feedback by visiting our post, "Gemini for Home voice assistant - Two Week Recap." At the bottom of that post, you will find a section titled "Improving Gemini for Home" with instructions on how to submit feedback for this feature.
I hope this information helps!
Best regards,
Debora
