Wanting to be able to start streaming an internet radio station, (eg 'stream radio paradise for 1 hour, at 5% volume, on my speaker') from a widget on my phone, so the radio will start streaming, without announcement from Google assistant, at a particular volume, for a particular time.
The no announcement (or low volume) is important, as doing this with other people around who may be asleep.. have noticed that even if you have the volume set to 1%, Google will still announce at about 50%?!
Thanks.

I'm not sure what you are talking about with a widget on your phone, but you can mute the Google Assistant on Google Mini speakers...

Thanks, but not really relevant... if I can't hear that because the volume is turned right down, can't hear the radio, either...
Yes, you can put a widget for any routines on your Android screen, can be handy...

Hi @hornetster,
Thank you for reaching out to the community. I understand you are looking for a way to stream internet radio to your speaker or display using a widget without the Google Assistant providing a loud verbal confirmation. I appreciate you sharing your experience regarding the announcement volume levels even when the device is set to a low percentage. I am happy to assist you with the information you need.
Currently, the specific feature to trigger these streams via a widget without a verbal response is not available within the Google Home app settings. We're always looking for ways to improve, and we appreciate your feedback to continue improving our products and meeting your needs.
Could you please clarify if the volume behavior happens exclusively with the Google Assistant announcements, or if it also occurs when you are playing music or videos? Additionally, could you specify if you are using a Google Nest speaker or a Google Nest display?
Keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.
Regards,
Anders

Sorry, Xmas/New Year got in the way.... 😁
"exclusively with the Google Assistant announcements, or if it also occurs when you are playing music or videos?"
Not real sure what you mean here?? When you ask Assistgant something on a speaker, he replies and/or tells you what he is doing??
Believe this occurs on both a speaker and a display.
Thanks.
