If your battery cameras disconnected from Wi-Fi, what told you that? Was the Google Home app saying they were offline? If they were just offline, I don't think you would need to "add" them back in in the Google Home app. Have you tried moving the battery cameras close to your router/modem temporarily to see if the problem is a weak Wi-Fi signal at the cameras' locations? Have you tried plugging them into the charging cord (with the cord feeding towards the FRONT of the camera), in case the problem was caused by depleted batteries?
We have had a Google Nest Camera (Battery) for a year, plugged in with the optional power cable, and it has not lost its Wi-Fi connection or gone offline. But I've seen various postings in this forum where customers had issues with the battery camera when running on battery power.

The Google Home app said they were offline. I brought the cameras close to the router and they didn't reconnect. I charged their battery and they still won't reconnect.

Hey Steve8,
I'm sorry for the delay. A few questions: what's the status light of your cameras? What's the exact message are you getting when connecting them to your Wi-Fi network? Are you using a Wi-Fi extender? Also, what's the battery state of your Nest Cam (Battery)?
You can check out this link on how to Troubleshoot offline Nest camera or doorbell.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.
Thanks,
Archie

Hello Archie,
My status light of my cameras is a pulsing blue when I try to connect it to the Wi-Fi. After a few minutes waiting for my camera to connect to the Wi-Fi, it says "Unable to connect to Wi-Fi". My Wi-Fi app says that my camera is connected to a Wi-Fi extender, even though it won't connect to the the Google Home app. Finally, my battery state seems to be ok, since it's been charging for days.
Thank you,
Steve.

You mentioned that your camera is connected to a Wi-Fi extender. Does your Wi-Fi extender use a different network name (SSID) than your other devices? All of the Google Nest devices in a Google Nest "home" have to use the same Wi-Fi network (with the same network name [SSID]), and your phone has to be signed onto the same "home" on the same Wi-Fi network when you set up your cameras.

Hi there,
Ah, gotcha. Have you tried the steps shared by MplsCustomer? if so, how did it go? Let me know if you need more help.
Thanks for the help, MplsCustomer.

Hello @MplsCustomer,
My Wi-Fi extender uses the same network. Recently, I disconnected my Wi-Fi extender so my cameras can connect directly to the router. I put my Google Nest cams and my iphone by the side of router. My Google Home app is still unable to connect the Wi-Fi to the cameras.

I'm stumped. There seem to be a number of posts in this forum about the newer cameras just dropping offline and customers being unable to get them working again. It hasn't happened to our 2 newer cameras (yet).

Hey there,
I appreciate your patience here. No worries, we’ll sort this out — a few questions: how far are your cameras from the router? Do you have an Android phone or iPhone? What Wi-Fi frequency band do you try to connect to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)? Also, are there other devices connected to the same Wi-Fi where the cameras are connected to?
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Let me know how it goes.
Best,
JT

Hello,
I am not sure if there is a misunderstanding, but my Google Nest cam has not reconnected yet.
