Unable to add Lutron switches to my home/rooms

I recently added a Lutron dimmer in my house.  I am able to control the lights using the Lutron app. 

I am able to link Lutron to Google Home, and voice control of the lights works through my Google devices.

However Lutron still appears as "Linked to you" in my devices, but not assigned to a home. I can't assign it to a room, and it's not showing up in home control options. 

Pressing the icon in the Home app (under "linked to you") does not control the switch, and long pressing does not allow for me to add it to a home/room.

Not sure if I'm missing a step?

That certainly hasn't been easy for you — let's check this out.

Was it working before? Make sure your devices are within 15-20 feet of your router and connected to the same network. Could you try reinstalling your Lutron and Google Home app? Also, try relinking your Lutron account using these steps:

1. Open the Google Home app.
2. Select your light > Setting > Unlink (Home Automation Partner) > Unlink.
