Hi there,
I manage a small horse stable in Cyprus and was wondering — can the Nest Thermostat reliably monitor and alert for temperature changes in a semi-outdoor setting like a barn?
I’m looking for remote access features and possibly some automation.
Anyone tried this?
P.S. I also run a site on Cyprus horse racing — feel free to check it out!
Thanks!

Hi @Bobston,
Thank you for posting in the community. I understand you'd like to know if Nest Thermostat devices can reliably monitor and alert you to temperature changes in a semi-outdoor setting like a barn, since you manage a small horse stable in Cyprus. I'm happy to assist you.
While Nest Thermostat devices are designed for indoor environments, their compatibility depends on the system types.
I understand monitoring and alerting for temperature changes may be useful, considering your needs and the needs of all Nest users. We're always looking for ways to improve, and we appreciate your feedback to continue improving our products and meeting your needs.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Anders
