Hi

Need help because no other post here or on reddit has an answer.

For person A, Google home app has the activation button for voice match for 2 Xiaomi speakers but it isnt activating. Voice match is active on nest speakers though.

Person B's voice match is working across all devices.

How to I get Person to have voice match on all devices?

Hi Ceddy,

Thanks for reaching out to our community.

I’m sorry to hear that for person “A,” the Google Home app has the activation button for voice match with your two Xiaomi speakers, but it isn’t activating. Thank you for letting us know important details, such as the voice match being active on the Nest speakers and working for persons “A” and “B.” I also appreciate you sharing with us that the Xiaomi and Nest speakers work for person “B.” This information allows me to provide you with better assistance. No worries, help is here.

Based on this information, I suggest you follow these instructions:

Unpair your Xiaomi speakers:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap Favorites (the heart icon) or Devices (the squared icon).
  3. Tap the preferred device to unpair.
  4. At the top-right, tap Settings (the screw icon), then select “Audio,” then go to “Paired Bluetooth devices.”
  5. Tap the “X” next to the preferred device to unpair, then tap “Unpair.”

Reconnect your Xiaomi speakers:

  1. Turn on the Bluetooth speaker.
  2. Open the Google Home app.
  3. At the top-right, tap Settings (the screw icon), then tap “Audio,” and then select “Default music speaker.”
  4. Tap the preferred device to reconnect.
  5. The speaker will reconnect to the Google Nest or Google Home device.

Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to your response.

Best regards,

Virna
