Thanks for posting on the community. I am so sorry to hear about the burglary in front of your home. It's completely understandable that you need to access your camera's recordings to find the specific event, and I'd be happy to help you with the steps to do that.
Since the event wasn't automatically highlighted, you can scroll through the full 24/7 video history to find the exact moment you need.
Here is how you can find and review the footage in the Google Home app:
- Open the Google Home app on your phone.
- Select your Nest Cam from the list of devices.
- On the live video feed, you will see a timeline at the bottom of the screen. You can scroll left or right on this timeline to move forward or backward in time.
- To move more quickly, tap the Date at the top of the timeline. This will open a calendar view, and you can select a specific day to jump to.
- To get a closer look, you can pinch to zoom on the timeline to expand it and see the recordings in more detail.
Once you have found the specific video clip, you can save it to your phone by following these steps:
- While viewing the clip, tap the Video clip icon (it looks like a play button in a box) on the timeline.
- Use the markers to select the beginning and end of the clip you want to save.
- Tap Download to save the video clip to your phone's photo library.
