Webclient for Google Nest Doorbell

danslo
Community Member

Community manager Rachel mentioned a web client in development for this device 10 months ago:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Nest/comments/pc3ln6/welcoming_the_new_nest_cams_and_doorbell/hazym6g/

I bought the device on the premise that at some point I'd be able to view my camera through a browser, rather than having to open my phone.

Have there been any updates?

As far as I am aware, there are still plans. I have not received anything different from Google on the matter.

Best regards,

Brad

Hi Brad,

I understand that it is currently not possible to share a timeline for its release, but could you confirm that the web client is still in development and has not been cancelled?
